Speaking Requirements

You’ve read the internationally bestselling book, 90 Minutes in Heaven ... now you can hear the story in person. Don Piper continues his speaking tour, delivering a message of hope and healing to countless churches, conferences and seminars around the world.

Scheduling:

The 2008 calendar is almost complete. Don is now booking for 2009 on a limited basis.

Finances:

Most of the time, unless a church prefers to provide an honorarium, Don comes on a love-offering basis.

Lodging, Meals and Travel:

Lodging, meals, and round-trip airfare and/or rental car expenses will be paid/provided for by the church/organization. Don Piper Ministries will arrange travel/meals and will provide receipts for reimbursement of these costs. Payment for these expenses should be delivered at the completion of your event. (In the event that Don’s travel to your location might involve a speaking engagement at a nearby venue, travel expenses can be shared with another entity.) Because he is continually writing, Don and his staff prefer a hotel/motel with two full beds for privacy. If possible, a downstairs room should be reserved; stairs can be somewhat difficult for him.

Additional Considerations:

Don asks that he be able to sell books and CDs of his testimony. Please provide a six-foot table with two chairs to be set up for the book signing. We encourage people who have already purchased books to bring them for Don to sign.
Because of constant travel and speaking, and his physical limitations, please consider scheduling only minimal additional events for Don during extended engagements. (i.e. revivals, conferences, etc.) Speaking more than twice on consecutive days can be difficult.
To assist him in his ministry, Don usually travels with either his wife or one of his sons. Please make appropriate arrangements when planning meals, transportation, or stay.
